Schools out in Cork as strike shuts doors

27,000 teachers will be picketing 700 secondary schools in Cork and around the country today. The row centres on Department of Education plans to reform the Junior Cert - which involves teachers assessing their own students. Vice President of the ASTI and Cork teacher Maire Ni Chiarba says they have no other choice than to strike.
