Search continues for man missing off West Cork coast

The alarm was raised at 7.30pm when the man failed to return to port in Schull yesterday evening.

A major sea search continued into the early hours of this morning for a man missing off the West Cork coast since Monday evening when he failed to return home from a fishing trip.

The alarm was raised at 7.30pm when the man,  who is in his late 60s and from Ballydehob, failed to return to port in Schull yesterday evening after going out fishing alone in a small boat.
