Search continues for missing Cork man in the US
David O'Sullivan from Middleton went missing on April 7th last year.
His mother says she is trying to focus on the positive before she travels Stateside to take part in the latest search for her son.
Carmel O'Sullivan says she last heard from 26 year-old David on April 7th last year when he was hiking alone on the Pacific Crest Trail in California
Searchers believe that he may have gotten into difficulty outside the town of Idyllwild which was hit by snow and David may have got lost, dehydrated or had a fall in this vast area .
Speaking to RedFM News Carmel says she always makes the journey Stateside with high hopes.
