Search Resumes in Baltimore for Missing Man

The bodies of his father and his girlfriend were recovered from the sea last evening
A search operation has resumed in West Cork for a man missing since yesterday evening.
The search was mounted after a father and his son's girlfriend were swept out to sea in a freak accident in Baltimore
The victims have been named locally as Barry Ryan and Niamh O'Connor. Niamh's boyfriend Barry Davis Ryan remains missing this morning
The young man was among a group of three who went into the water in Baltimore shortly after 5.30 yesterday
It's reported his girlfriend, Niamh O'Connor was swept into the sea by a freak wave, and her boyfriend and his father tried to rescue her.
The alarm was raised and Niamh and her boyfriend's Barry Ryan a man in his 50's were recovered from the sea but were later pronounced dead.
Search crews returned to the scene to look for the second man at half past five this morning.
Teams from Baltimore, Schull and Toe Head are all involved in the operation, and local divers are in the water, while navy divers will be on the scene through the morning.
A shoreline search is also being conducted this morning
Speaking to RedFM News Baltimore Lifeboat Operations Manager Tom Bushe outlined the rescue operation last evening
