Serious road traffic incident on main Cork - Mallow Road
Gardaí have confirmed to RedFM News that there has been a serious road traffic incident on the main Cork - Mallow road.
It's understood two vehicles are involved in in the incident between Ballygibbon and Waterloo.
Emergency services including ambulance crews and gardaí at the scene.
Gardaí are asking motorists traveling on the main Cork - Mallow Road to make alternative travel arrangements.
That includes traffice travelling from Cork and from Mallow.
It's understood a number of people have been seriously injured.
The road will be closed to all traffic.
