Shane Ross refuses to get involved in Bus strike

Hundreds of workers from Irish Rail and Dublin Bus have marched in solidarity with their striking colleagues in Bus Eireann.

Hundreds of workers from Irish Rail and Dublin Bus have marched in solidarity with their striking colleagues in Bus Eireann.

50 Bus Eireann workers from Cork travelled to the capital to take part in a national protest outside the Dail while their colleagues maintained their pickets across Cork .

The Transport Minister says he will not be bringing a magic wand to resolve the Bus Eireann dispute. 

Shane Ross says he is playing his part in supporting Bus Eireann, but will not get involved now in what he calls an "internal issue". 

Speaking to RedFM News Cork bus driver Barry Irwin says he's saddened that he's having to fight for what he's entitled to under a contract he signed 23 years ago:
