Sharon Ni Bheolain hits back over "pyjama pics"
Sharon Ni Bheolain says the 'kerfuffle' over photographs published of her in a number of tabloid newspapers has hampered what is a 'very serious Garda investigation' into the alleged stalking of her by a member of the public. The broadcaster was photographed while walking a dog in a pair of pyjama bottoms on Sunday afternoon. Today the Editor in Chief of the Irish Daily Mirror has apologised to her over publishing the shots. However Ms. Ni Bheolain says her 'ire' has nothing to do with the unflattering nature of the photographs, but directly relates to a photographer sitting on her street for 2 days - and the irony of being stalked by a paparazzi as newspapers sympathised with her over her alleged stalking. Editor in Chief of the Irish Daily Mirror John Kierans earlier explained the background to his decision to publish the pictures: Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio [CLIP]
