Side Affects Of Anti Malaria Drug Worse Than Disease According To Family Of Sailors And Soldiers

Family members of Sailors and Soldiers in Cork say the side affects from the anti malaria drug Larium, are worse than contracting the disease itself.
It comes as the group representing the Wives and Partners of the Defence Forces are meeting Minister Paul Kehoe later today to discuss a number of issues, including the controversial drug.
They say that members of the Defence Forces that have been administered Larium ahead of deployment, suffer from insomnnia, anxiety and depression as a result.
Speaking to RedFM news Lorriane O'Hare from Cork whose husband is in the army, says the affects of the drug can go on for several years:
