Simon Community Concerned Over New Rents Report
The Simon Communities in Ireland say the figures released in today's Daft.ie report on rents are 'extremely worrying'.
Across the major urban centres, rent inflation varied from 12 percent in Cork city, to 15.5 percent in Dublin, 10 percent in Galway city and 12.5 percent in Limerick.
It's hoped the new system of rent caps which was recently extended to Ballincollig, Carrigaline, Douglas and Passage West will help alleviate the crisis Leeside.
However Simon Communities' National Spokesperson Niamh Randall says more needs to be done:
