Simon Coveney speaks out after correspondence emerges of confrontation with pilot

Simon Coveney says his record as Minister for Defence shows that he respects the judgment of military personnel.
It's after internal Air Corps emails emerged indicating that he questioned a pilot who refused to fly him to Cork for a meeting in 2015 - because of fog.
The emails show the Air Corps were unhappy the pilot's judgment was being challenged and said they had never received such a call in 25 years.
On his way into this morning's Cabinet meeting Minister Coveney was asked if he had any comment on the story:
