Simon Coveney's decision to challenge an air corp pilot who cancelled his flight in 2015 due to fog, has been described as "extremely serious"

It's after emails emerged which show that he told the pilot he had an extremely important meeting and that his tone was one of frustration
His secretary then phoned the pilot to say there was no fog and - according to the emails - this was seen as "rubbing it in".
Aviation Journalist Gerry Byrne says one of the causes of Air Crashes is pressure to complete the mission.
