Simon says the numbers sleeping rough has doubled

An urgent appeal for support has been issued by Cork Simon as the numbers sleeping rough in the city has doubled. Concern has been now been expressed by the organisation that they will not be able to meet the demand being created by homelessness and the housing crisis that's emerging in the city. Cork Simon are now seeking support ahead of their annual fundraiser which makes up a significant part of the €2.7 million needed to keep their service going.
