Singer Dolores O'Riordan Dies Aged 46

The Cranberries singer was in London for a recording session

Irish and international singer Dolores O'Riordan has died suddenly in London today. 

She was 46 years old. 

The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. 

The Limerick woman shot to fame in the 1990's as lead singer with the band The Cranberries. 

O'Riordan was married to Don Burton for 20 years before divorcing in 2014. They have 3 three children together.  

A statement says family members are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.
