Sinn Féin Claim Major Victory For Women's Health

Sinn Féin is claiming a major victory for women's health.

The Dáil last night passed a motion which called for the new National Maternity Hospital to be built on the St Vincent's Hospital campus as quickly as possible and remain entirely within public ownership.

It also included proposals for universal access to foetal anomaly screening and a commitment to work with nursing and medical unions in the recruitment and retention of medical staff.
