Sit-in at Ballyvolane petrol station continues
Staff are staging a sit-in at a petrol station on the northside of the city have vowed to continue their efforts for as long as it takes. Six workers at the Texoil/Texaco branded filling station, operated by Highway Retail, say two company executives arrived to shut the shop down yesterday without warning. Staff say they decided to stage the sit-in because they were given no assurances about payment for last weeks wages and other entitlements.
