Six people stuck on amusement ride in Tramore

Engineers are checking an amusement ride in Co Waterford to find out why it malfunctioned trapping a family in the air for nearly two hours. 6 people including four children said they were terrified while stuck around 80 feet in the air last night on the chair-o-plane ride in Tramore. The manager of Tramore Amusement and Leisure Park Limited, Frank King, has apologised to them for their traumatic experience, but says they weren't in danger. He says it's a new machine that was certified by an engineer only two weeks ago, and it's now closed to be re-checked. Click PLAY button to hear audio
