Small Businesses Could Be Impacted Significantly If A Statutory Sick Pay Scheme Is Introduced
That's according to a representative group
The warning comes as the government launches a consultation process on making it mandatory for firms to operate a scheme.
The issue has come to the fore during the pandemic with reports low paid workers feared not showing up for their jobs for financial reasons, even if they were ill.
