South bound bore of Jack Lynch tunnel closed due to a major oil spill on the N40
A section of road between the Tunnel and the Mahon slip road westbound is closed as a result of the spill.
Fire Crews from Anglesea street have been at the scene for the past hour and are currently cleaning the road with water tankers.
There are delays on the N25 slip and the M8 as a result.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to expect delays.
