Stars turn out for Emmy Awards 2013

Modern Family has won its fourth Emmy Award in a row for Best Comedy Series. Breaking Bad won Best Television Drama Series at the star-studded event last night. Michael Douglas was honoured as Best Actor for his portrayal of Liberace in Behind the Candelabra. Abi Morgan picked up the Best Writing in a mini-series award for British drama The Hour. Newsroom star Jeff Daniels was the surprise winner, edging out Kevin Spacey and Bryan Cranston in the Best Actor in a Drama Series category. Claire Danes walked away with the top acting prize while her Homeland co-star Damian Lewis left empty handed. The star picked up the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of troubled CIA agent Carrie Moss.
