Stash of Cigarettes Seized in Macroom
Two people have been arrested.
A polish man and a woman in their 30's have been arrested following the seizure of 25,000 cigarettes in Macroom yesterday.
Acting on intelligence revenue officers and a sniffer dog searched the house in Cork and retrieved over €13,000 worth of cigarettes.
The stash would had an estimated loss of €10,400 to the Exchequer.
