Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for Cork as Storm Eva approaches.
Winds are expected to gust up to 110km an hour this evening and early tonight.
The developing storm is expected to track to the west and northwest of Ireland bringing some severe winds to coastal counties.
Three weather warnings are in place across the country with all warnings remaining valid until midnight tonight.
