Status yellow weather warning in place as patches of black ice reported across Cork

Met Éireann has issued a Yellow Alert with up to 3cm of snow expected to fall between now and 6am tomorrow morning.
Motorists are being warned to watch out for patchy accumulations of snow on roads.
Patches of black ice have been reported in the Cobh area, and secondary roads in the county are also said to be affected by black ice.
The AA's Barry Aldworth says drivers should check local weather reports and be aware of the conditions before setting out on a trip:
