STI clinic's are at full capacity in Cork
Taboos that still exist around sex education are leading to a rise in the number of teens contracting sexually transmitted diseases.. That's according to the head of the HSE Youth Service in Cork who was reacting to the news that teenagers as young as 13 are presenting themselves to clinics for treatment Clinics which treat the infections say they're now operating at full capacity as cases of gonorrhea alone have doubled here in just three years, while chlamydia has also become commonplace.
