Stigma Remains The Single Biggest Killer When It Comes To People's Mental Health

That's according to the clinical Manager of Pieta House

That's according to the clinical Manager of Pieta House Sylvia O' Driscoll-Wong who was speaking at the official opening of the charity's new centre in Shanakiel this morning.

The centre provides therapy to people who self harm or have suicidal thoughts and is the busiest in the country, seeing up to 90 people a day ranging from young children to people in their 80's

Speaking to RedFM News, Pieta's Sylvia O' Driscoll-Wong says people still feel ashamed and fearful when discussing their own mental health
