Status Yellow Weather Alert is in operation across Cork


Storm Erik is approaching Ireland with strong winds expected and a risk of coastal flooding.

Donegal, Galway and Mayo are due to get the worst of the conditions with a status orange wind warning in place.

The rest of the country is under a status yellow alert with drivers being advised to take extra care on the roads.
