Students At The Fire Damaged Patrician Academy Mallow Make A Direct Appeal To Education Minister

They say classes are being conducted in sub standard conditions and they want urgent action taken

Students say they have been enduring these poor conditions since the secondary school was badly damaged by fire three years ago...
Last week the Student Council took matters into their own hands and sent a letter directly to the Education Minister asking why they have been "neglected" and accused the Government and his department of not treating the students as equals..
Eoghan Kenny, penned the email to Minister Joe McHugh appealing to him to get construction work started at the school and remove them from the sub-standard conditions
Planning permission is expected to be lodged next month with construction likely to start next year
Speaking to RedFM News this morning Eoghan Kenny outlined the conditions and what action they want taken
