Students want a decision within the next two weeks on whether the State Exams are going ahead as planned.

Another meeting is taking place between the Department of Education and stakeholders today to consider the options
The Irish Second-Level Students Union wants calculated grades and scaled-back exams.
President Reuban Murray says a decision needs to be made urgently
"So what's very important, is from early February, February 10th or around that time we need to be communicating with schools and the school community. Are we moving ahead, with the Leaving Cert as normal or do we have an alternative? What is the alternative going to resemble and when will we get a full laid out plan that details, each point?"
