Submissions On Cork's Boundary Issue Open To The Public

People across Cork have two months to submit their views on the proposed boundary extension between the city and county.
The County Mayor is encouraging people, communities and businesses to have their say on the alternate proposal put forward by the county council under Section 29 of the Local Government's Act 1991.
The move has been heavily criticised by the city council who have voiced their support for the recommendation by the MacKinnon report to include Ballincollig, Carrigrohane, Blarney, Glanmire, Carrigtwohill and Cork Airport in the city's remit.
