Sunny Easter Gives Way To A Cold Week

Met Eireann says temperatures have dropped and will remain low for the week

Today will be cold with wintry showers with temperature to drop to as low as -1 overnight leading to a sharp frost

It will be less cold tomorrow with a return to colder weather from Thursday night into Friday and Saturday

Met Eireann forecaster Evelyn Cusack says the weekend will remain cold

"For the week ahead - quite a chilly week overall a little less cold through Wednesday and Thursday but throughout the coming weekend pretty chilly as well. So for the gardeners out there don't be planting those delicate plants just yet as there is still some light frost ion the way"
