Suspected Gas Leak Leads To Residents Being Evacuated In Hollyhill

A number of residents had to leave their homes in the Hollywood Estate as a precautionary measure
A number of houses are being evacuated on the northside of the city this afternoon due to reports of a gas leak
Two units of Cork city fire service along with Bord Gais responded to the scene at the Hollywood Estate when the alarm was raised shortly before midday
Fire control have confirmed to RedFM News that the operation is ongoing and that a number of residents at the back of the estate had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure
