Syringe bin on the northside of the city is a hazard to the local community

That's according to a Cork Councillor who's calling for it to be relocated.
Joe Kavanagh says the syringe bin located between Wellington Road and Sydney Park is in the wrong location, is too isolated and too close to nearby schools.
The Fine Gael Councillor is calling for the bin to be relocated following concerns raised from residents who say its attracting drug users.
Speaking to RedFM News, Councillor Joe Kavanagh says school children can no longer use the route as a shortcut.
