Talks Are Continuing At The Labour Court This Evening, To Try And Resolve The Nurses Dispute With The Government

Nurses say next week’s strikes will go ahead, unless discussions on pay take place
The Labour Court has been meeting the INMO, the HSE and government officials for the past five hours to try and find common ground between the sides and avoid three days of industrial action, which would affect over 80,000 patients.
The INMO is demanding a 12 per cent pay increase for nurses, which the government says it cannot afford.
General Secretary of the Irish Congress Of Trade Unions, Patricia King, says the government’s approach must change:
