Talks On Haulbowline Clean-Up Get Underway

Plans to clean up a toxic dump on Haulbowline Island should include the steel plant itself. That's the view of Friends of the Irish Environment, who are worried about the high risk to humans from PCB spills on the main site, and to ecosystems from metal and dust. An Bord Pleanala's hearing into the plans for the clean up gets underway today.
