Talks resume at the Workplace Relations Commission today in a bid to resolve Bus Eireann dispute

Strike action at the company is now into its third week

Unions and management at Bus Éireann are back at talks today at the Workplace Relations Commission.

Tens of thousands of commuters have been affected by the strike action for the past 16 days.

Following a marathon 27 hour meeting at the WRC last night, talks concluded without agreement as trade unions and management at the company failed to reach any agreement in the dispute over plans to implement cost cutting measures.

Dermot O'Leary is General Secretary of the National Bus and Railworkers Union.
