Schools across Cork make arrangements ahead of impending ASTI dispute tomorrow

Secondary schools across Cork have begun contacting parents informing them that due to the impending ASTI dispute that schools will be closed tomorrow...
The union is meeting with officials from the Department of Education at 2.30pm
The planned strike is the first of seven days, and is set to close hundreds of schools nationwide.
It's also feared many schools will not be able to re-open after the mid term break, when ASTI members plan to withdraw from supervision and substitution duties.
ASTI Vice president Ger Curtin, says it's a problem of the government's making:
