Tánaiste admits Fine Gael members also posed as fake pollsters to get the opinion of voters

There's been calls for a Garda investigation into Sinn Féin for members pretending to be pollsters to get voter data.
This evening Leo Varadkar told RTÉ before he became Fine Gael leader similar practices would have been carried out by his party.
Professor of Politics at DCU, Gary Murphy says the issue at the heart of the controversy is trust:
"Every one should be held to the exact same standard. Whether you have the money or not to do a proper poll, in my view, is neither here nor there- it is beside the point. If you're seeking the person's vote at a general election, what you're doing is you're basically seeking their trust.".
