Tánaiste Confirms Drafting Of Fresh Financial Proposal In A Bid To Progress The Events Centre

Cork's Simon Coveney says the new proposal includes an increased contribution from government
The proposal also, crucially sees an increased contribution from developers BAM and the proposed operators of the venue, Live Nation.
It's understood that the proposals are now with the respective parties and decisions are imminent.
The sod was turned on the project this day two years ago however following a detailed internal redesign additional state funding was requested which has cast doubt on the future of the highly anticipated venue.
However speaking to RedFM News Minister Coveney says that all the stakeholders are committed to the project and a new deal has been hammered out to move the project on:
