Tánaiste: €4 Billion In Additional Funding For Health Service Should Be Maintained After Pandemic

Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar will tell his party's Ard Fheis tonight that the allocation of extra staff, resources and funding should be kept
He will also set out ambitions for a living wage and better access to pensions.
Fine Gael TD Neale Richmond says one of the main themes tonight will be the post-Covid recovery:
"There will be big focus on the improvements that we need to make to the health system. If we look at the leadership that we've seen in health, throughout the pandemic, it's using those gains to ensure that we learn the lessons of the pandemic. But we use, crucially, the pandemic, as a disruptor, to ensure that we have the best possible health care system."
