Tánaiste: Government Actively Involved In The Case Of North Cork Man Facing Deportation From US
37 year old Keith Byrne from Fermoy was arrested by immigration agents on his way to work earlier this month in Pennsylvania
The married father of three who runs a painting business in Philadelphia entered the county on a 90 day Visa in 2007 and had been trying to secure citizenship.
He signed deportation documents on Friday which mean he could be deported in the next three weeks.
Speaking to RedFM News, Tánaiste Simon Coveney says consular services are in close contact with his family:
