Tanaiste Says Government Is Committed To Developing Road Infrastructure In Cork

He was commenting as the judicial review into the planning approval for the M28 was adjourned
The Tánaiste says he won't speculate on the outcome of an ongoing judicial review of plans for the M28 motorway but he says the government is committed to developing road infrastructure Leeside.
The judicial review of An Bord Pleanála's decision to grant planning for the motorway got underway last week and was adjourned until April 4th.
The M28 Steering Group, which is made up of thousands of residents living in the vicinity of the plans, brought the case to the High Court over concerns that their quality of life will deteriorate with increased noise and air pollution as well as traffic congestion.
Speaking to RedFM News Tánaiste Simon Coveney says while the outcome of the M28 judicial review isn't known, significant investment is needed in Cork, and the Government is delivering in this:
