Tánaiste Says He Understands Frustrations Of Nurses In Cork

He says the government is committed to bringing about change.
He made the comments ahead of a lunchtime protest being held today by nurses at Cork University Hospital.
They're staging the demonstration after the HSE admitted it does not have a plan to deal with an increase in patients at the hospital this winter.
Trolley watch figures compiled by the nursing union and released this morning show that CUH has the highest number of people being treated on trollies in the country today with 52 people in overflow wards and lying on trollies in corridors in the hospital this morning.
Speaking to RedFM News Tánaiste Simon Coveney says plans are in place to address the difficulties being faced on a daily basis by nurses:
