The Tánaiste's defended welfare cuts for under 26's by saying sitting in front of flat screen TV's is no place for them Eamon Gilmore came under fire in the Dáil today over the plan to keep those under 26 on a lower weekly welfare rate. The coalition says the measure is aimed at getting them into a job or education.
