Taoiseach Announces He Wants To Hold A Referendum On 8th Amendment
Leo Varadkar says he wants to hold a referendum on the eighth amendment in the first half of next year.
He made the announcement at a press conference on the first of a three day trip to Canada, before marching in the Montreal Pride parade with his partner.
Today, the Taoiseach will meet with business and tourism leaders and attend a reception with the Irish community in the city.
