Taoiseach names Junior Ministers

The announcement was made in the Dáil this evening.

The Taoiseach's appointed three additional Ministers of State bringing to 18 the total number of junior Ministers. 

Two of those named are Cork TD's, however large parts of the country are without any Ministerial representation after the announcement this evening. 

Cork North West TD Dara Murphy was named as Minister for EU Affairs and Data Protection and Cork East TD David Stanton as Minister for Justice, equality and integration.
