It follows remarks by party colleague Jim O'Callaghan who said... 'he'd have to think about it' ...when asked about the leadership

Micheál Martin says he is 'absolutely' confident of his position and insisted there are no leadership issues:

 

Taoiseach, Micheál Martin: "No, I don't. Not at all. Not at all.

Reporter: "Are you confident of your position?"

Taoiseach, Micheál Martin: "Absolutely. There's no issue."

Reporter: "Will there be a heave?"

Taoiseach, Micheál Martin: "Not at all. Not at all."
