The Taoiseach says the introduction of water charges will be the last major financial burden for the Irish public. Enda Kenny was speaking after the government signed off on a deal that will see the average home face charges of 240 euro The deal will include a free allowance for all households, with an extra allowance for children, and a social welfare allowance for households with an inability to way.
