Taoiseach to visit Cork ahead of jobs announcement

The Taoiseach is paying an official visit to Cork today. Enda Kenny will begin his visit with the launch of the local Enterprise Office at City Hall before heading over to Oxford International on Penrose Quay who are announcing an expansion of their business. It is expected the Taoiseach will be asked today to source emergency funding for the repair of Cork’s iconic Shandon clock following confirmation from City Council yesterday that it has no money this year to fund the repairs.
