Teen arrested after glass attack leaves Cork man disfigured

The 16-year-old was arrested this morning and is being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
Gardaí investigating a weekend attack in Dublin on a 21 year old man have made an arrest.

Earlier today a Cork based emergency medical consultant took to twitter after his son was glassed in an attack at the junction of Dame Lane and Trinity Street in the early hours of Monday morning.
Professor Stephen Cusack, took to social media and tweeted saying his son Andrew was "catastrophically disfigured" by an evil thug and appealed for anyone with any information to contact investigating Gardai
Andrew suffered facial injuries after he was set upon and attacked by a man armed with a glass or a glass bottle.
Prof Cusack says Andrew, is now under the care of plastic surgeons at St James's Hospital, an is urging any witnesses to contact the guards.
