Teenager in serious condition following shooting in Dublin

A male in his late teens has been seriously injured in a shooting in Dublin’s south inner city.
It happened in the Coombe area last night.
This teenager was shot a number of times on Eugene Street just before 11 o’clock last night. He was taken was taken to St James hospital where he is in a serious condition.
Some items left of clothing have been left at the scene which has been sealed off and a forensic exam will take place in the coming hours.
The shooting happened in a residential area close to the Coombe Hospital and Gardai are asking anyone who may have noticed anything between half ten and half eleven to come forward.
They’re particularly keen to chat to anyone who could have dash cam or mobile phone footage, and anyone with information is being asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station.
