Temperatures could reach 24 degrees this week

Temperatures could hit as high as 24 degrees in parts of the country this week.
The good conditions over the past couple of days are set to continue, however there's the chance of some patchy showers in places.
The best of the weather is expected to hit the country from Thursday.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather looks ahead.
"It's certainly going to warm up, but it's not going to be blue skies - it's going to be a mix really.
"The east of the country will stay mainly dry, but unfortunately there will be a lot of drizzle and patchy rain further west.
"The best of the sunshine will probably be through Thursday, and also the best in temperatures where it could hit 23 or 24 degrees.
"It does look like the weekend is looking very good."
